Welcome School Transportation Supervisors of NJ Members.

Join us as we continue to collaborate and partner throughout the State of New Jersey to ensure the highest standards are met as we transport the most precious cargo….. our students. From District Transportation Supervisors, Mechanics, School Bus Contractors, School Bus Vendors and Support Staff we are the transportation professionals that commit to our daily paramount concern, SAFETY.

Our diverse membership is rich in practical experience and knowledge.  When we gather together that knowledge is multiplied through our network of solution driven professionals.  New ideas coupled with proven experience not only take our organization to a higher level, our daily operations too rise up a standard.

Our goal is to provide educational opportunities to our members.  Throughout the year the three area regions will be hosting in person meetings.  I encourage you to attend and connect with colleagues in your region.  A highlight of the year is our annual Pupil Transportation Conference in Atlantic City, this is the time when we all come together statewide and learn from industry professionals.

The strength of our organization relies on our members to get involved:

  • Are you passionate about legislation?
  • Do you have ideas for classes, education and professional development?
  • Do you enjoy working with numbers and budgeting?
  • Would you love to host an event in your district?

 The list goes on, if you answered yes to any of these questions, STS needs you. A large collaborative team can accomplish much.  Reach out to your area Directors or any of the STS board members and we will find the perfect place for you to engage.

A heartfelt thank you to our existing membership, volunteers and vendors.  The support of our vendors is instrumental in moving our collective initiatives forward.  As an organization we will continue to partner with the NJ Educational Associations and the State and Federal Government Associations to ensure the safe transport of all students.  I am confident we are embarking on a new season of growth, transparency and partnership.
